Coffee is really good. It’s a lot more work than an automatic machine, but then it works anywhere. Not as messy to clean up as I thought. I like that it’s is possible to pour many cups of espresso; I often set it up for a few cups and just re-warm it for more when the first ones are finished. Unfortunately, the gauge is getting foggy and I requested a new one.

I am a serious coffee aficionado. I do not like the meager shot of espresso to start my day, so I have a human sized sip of espresso ( well, 6 oz) to help get started in the morning. The Ballman delivered a welcome start to my day. Wonderoiy strong coffee with silky foam filling my mug -
The one drink I made with this was pretty good, but when I saw all of the brown water at the bottom, I realized I wouldn't be using it again. I have to buy drinking water and it doesn't make sense to dump out a few cups every time I want an espresso. Nowhere did I see the water waste mentioned. I'm now confused that this is marketed to campers, because you often have to bring your drinking water with you. I've had the Bellman milk steamer for a couple years and I love it, partly because I can reuse the water to make more than one drink. I thought being able to make espresso, and the pressure gauge, would be an upgrade but I was sorely disappointed. I explained my predicament to customer service and they said that they couldn't accept a refund if it was used. It doesn't make sense to me that you have to decide whether you're satisfied with a product *before* you try it out, especially at this price point.
