This has a very heavy duty feel and it is very well polished. I can’t see many things going wrong with it in the long run as it is one big piece of steel. It took some time to dial in my usage but once I did, it has become my to go coffee maker even though I have a fully automated one. I took it on a camping trip recently and it was a great addition.
Can't even get a replacement. No accountability at all.
Our expectations were bigger than our results it seems. Filling the 3 cup portion of the filter with newly ground coffee, fine but not too fine, and letting the pressure go to 2, opening the valve slowly first releases a bit of steam then the start of a flow of lovely espresso coffee… then it stops flowing after about a third of an ounce then opening the valve a tiny bit more now releases a great abundance of steam and a little more coffee. I can’t get 2 shots out of it regardless of amount of coffee or water first placed in the unit.(3,6 or 9 cup choices) After the first few times we have given up on it. I think the valve is not working well. Who knows. Others will have had better luck than me no doubt.
Hi Kenneth, Thanks for your review, I'd recommend watching our in depth brewing guide so you can better understand the variables you can adjust to get the best results: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A4dI_G4dGsA
It is outstanding, being able to enjoy a perfect espresso, latte, or cappuccino in the middle of nowhere is a game changer!! Thank you Bellman!!!
I have no idea how to use this thing but still tastes light years beyond french press. first time just put some old coarse grind in there, hit it at 1.2 bar, added way too much water and pretty sure burndt the milk and definitely wasn't foamy. love it since then trying to dial it in and getting better each time.
